Does a recent trip to Morocco in Disney Epcot count? I bought an outfit and jewelry there that I can't wait to wear, but alas, I'm without any lamb brains to go with my dinner attire. However, reading about saffron chicken reminds me of roaming the backstreets in China where wholesale herbs were sold. I bought saffron from an elderly Chinese woman and just used the last of it in December. I will need to travel back and get some more, as the price was right. She also gave me something unidentifiable on my tongue to taste (yes, I let her) and laughed hysterically when my mouth went numb for the next half hour. Ah.. good times. Wish I had my Clay Coyote mug with me to photograph there. She could have put some dried creature in it for me.

Lovely! I make a ton of Moroccan dishes as well. They never get old and you can change them up in so many ways. :)

I always have a jar of preserved lemons in my fridge. They come in handy for so many things. And so easy to make, especially if you have your own backyard lemon tree. Hope you have a fun time cooking with yours. ;)
