Travel Mug does Disney!

The Travel Mug made its way to sunny Orlando, Florida for a trip to Magic Kingdom. It looks amazing, wonderful and ENCHANTING!

Couple fun facts about the Magic Kingdom:

  1. Magic Kingdom theme park is the gateway to 6 whimsical lands;  designed like a wheel with the hub in front of Cinderella Castle, pathways spoke out across the 107 acres. Wow!
  2. Opened October 1, 1971
  3. In order for the cast members to move from land to land without being seen out of character, they built tunnels for the staff to use. However, due to “Florida’s high water table, the tunnels could not be put underground, so they were built at the existing grade. This means that the park is actually built on the second story, giving Magic Kingdom an elevation of 107 feet (33 m).” (source wikipedia)

All this to say, the Travel Mug had a magical, enchanted, wonderful time!

Happy travels!

PS: stay tuned to the Mug’s great adventures over on the Big Map!

Travel Mug Enjoys Oysters in the Bay Area

The Travel Mug waits patiently at San Francisco’s famed Ferry Building for the shuckers to prepare a dozen of Hog Island Sweetwater oysters (learn to shuck your own with these instructions).

They were totally worth the wait!!! The Travel Mug thinks hard about another dozen…

The travel mug has been on the road a lot this last month, stay tuned for Disney, Cape Cod, Ireland an Portugal pics later this week! This map is getting packed!

Happy travels.
