Jack’s Travel Mug Goes to Washington

After we put out the call for your travel mug you answered! We started getting photos from readers who have travel mugs that roam the world, magically refilling with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, beer (it has been done), and memories!

In today’s Travel Mug installment we have Jack in Washington just steps from the Nation’s Capitol with an oldie-but-goodie blue and white mug circa 1996.

Jack in Washington DC

And if you think Jack is a little similar looking to another Coyote you would be right!  Yes, it is Tom’s slightly older (slightly wiser) brother!

So if you have a photo please send it in (we’ll add it to the map), or bring it by the gallery to say hi (maybe it will magically fill with something!) And if you need a new mug, before your next adventure order one here.

Happy Travels,
Coyote East

Last I heard, he’ll retire this summer, but I’ll leave the official word to him. Dad, are you out there?

I, too, have a collection of Clay Coyote mugs dating back into the ’90s, although mine is not extensive as my parent’s. My favorite is a matching hot chocolate and popcorn bowl set you guys gave me before going to college. All of the pieces are still in heavy rotation some thirteen years later!

That is a very old Coyote mug (as well as a very old person holding it!!!!). My bro and Karen have the world’s best collection of very old, some well back into the 90′s, Coyote pots. It’s always fun to see them, although sometimes a bit embarassing. So, John (Jack), when’s the retirement party?
